accessibility statement

This site should work for everyone who wants to watch the films on it, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnified text or high contrast. It follows the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at level AA.

conformance status

The site partially conforms to IS 5568 and WCAG 2.0 level AA. The pages, navigation, text and controls built for this site meet the standard as far as the checks below found. Part of the content does not yet: the videos themselves, described under “known limitations”.

Checked on , on the home page, a film page, a reel page, the contact page and this page, in both the light and dark themes, on a desktop screen and a 390px-wide phone screen:

  • an automated audit with axe-core against the WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 A and AA rules;
  • moving through every page with the keyboard alone;
  • every option in the accessibility menu, including after reloading the page;
  • text enlarged to 200%.

what the site does

  • An accessibility menu, behind the button in the bottom corner of every page: larger text (up to 200%), high contrast, highlighted links, a plainer and more readable font, and a switch that stops all animation. Your choices are remembered on this device.
  • A “Skip to content” link as the first thing the keyboard reaches, and a visible focus outline on every link and button.
  • Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 in both the light and dark themes, and 7:1 or more with high contrast on.
  • Text sized relative to your browser’s own font setting, so a larger default font in the browser makes the site larger too.
  • The strip of client logos pauses while you hover it, runs at half speed if your device is set to reduce motion, and stops with “Stop animations” in the menu — it is then shown all at once instead of scrolling.
  • Film titles and client names in Hebrew are marked as Hebrew, so screen readers read them with a Hebrew voice.
  • Every client logo has its name as alternative text, and every page has a descriptive title and headings.

known limitations

  • Captions and audio description. Most of the films are music videos and brand films. Not all of them have captions, and none have audio description yet. If you need a transcript or a description of a particular film, get in touch and we will provide one where we can.
  • Embedded players. Films play in players supplied by YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, TikTok and Google Drive. Their controls, keyboard behaviour and any autoplay inside them are run by those platforms and cannot be changed here; the accessibility menu does not reach inside them.
  • The site’s admin area is used only by the site’s owner and is not covered by this statement.
